A Life In Practice is my parenting and lifestyle blog with a difference. Here you will find mental health, coping with Negative Automatic Thoughts, and the struggles of feeling like a failure at parenting are discussed openly, because they are nothing to be ashamed of.
You will find no judgement, only the resounding message: You are not alone. We all feel like failures sometimes. We all get stressed, yell, make mistakes and generally get overwhelmed.
That doesn’t mean you aren’t still an awesome parent, and an awesome person.
I will be sharing everything! Recipes, frugal tips, craft ideas and fun experiences, as well as my personal journey raising children and coping with my own Negative Automatic Thoughts, experiences with depression and anxiety. I founded this blog to pursue a passion for writing, combined with a dream to work from home around my family and a strong desire to help people.
New posts go up every Monday, and hopefully more often if I can manage it. Is there anything you think would be a worthwhile topic that hasn’t come up yet, or that you particularly struggle with in your parenting journey? Drop me an email through the contact page, i’d love to hear your thoughts and promise I’ll try to write a helpful post just for you!
